The Elements of Nature Writing Course

Idaho State University

I developed an English literacy professional development course for Idaho State University that focuses on the elements of nature writing. The course examines historical and contemporary authors and their place in the professional writing community. It focuses on environmental writing, literary techniques, and style. The goal is to discover a new appreciation for the natural world and the effect nature has on writing. This course was so meaningful to create because it combines my passion for nature and writing.

  • One-on-one sessions working together for a unique goal

  • Personalized writing plans tailored to your unique needs and goals

  • MFA experienced storyteller sharing support in all aspects of writing

30 minutes - $30 (virtual) and $55 (in-person) per session
60 minutes - $50 (virtual) and $75 (in-person) per session

Animal-Assisted Learning & Wellness Sessions

Learn techniques to enhance self-awareness and reduce stress.

    • Writing theory in practice with opportunities for growth in all writing genres

    • Seasonal meetings to grow in community

    • Etiquette updates and tips for the graceful writing in personal and professional settings
