“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
In 2018, I founded my animal-assisted learning and wellness program, Spirit of Love. As I continue my vocation as wife, mother, writer, and teacher, I’m reminded of Jesus’ love in every corner my life. He is the One Spirit that ties everything together. I hope the love of Jesus shines through in all that I do and in every word that I write.
Author Biography
Living in His Love
I’m a small-town girl who enjoys horseback riding, Irish ceili dancing, quilting, and journaling. I love sweet potato fries and homemade ice cream. It’s hard to beat creamy vanilla in a toasted waffle bowl layered with warm golden caramel and two cherries on top—I mean, one cherry isn’t enough but three is a bit excessive, right?
Apart from eating way too much ice cream, I love writing stories and teaching in animal-assisted learning. I grew up with an incredible love for animals, which led me to a career as a life scientist and science educator. In 2018, I founded Spirit of Love, an animal-assisted learning and wellness program. Animals always weave their way into my stories, bringing an added dose of humor (and undeniable adorableness) to the tale.
I earned my MFA in Creative Writing from SNHU and love writing inspirational fiction. I am a member of the American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW), the Catholic Writer’s Guild (CWG), and the Faith, Hope, & Love Christian Writers (FHLCW). I write stories full of beautiful country settings, quirky small towns, memorable characters, and clean, heartwarming romance. I hope to always share Jesus’ love through my words, inspiring readers to find beauty and goodness in the adventures and surprises that greet us each day. Those unexpected adventures create the best memories!
“Certain moments in life change everything, and nothing will ever be the same again. Moments when, in an instant, past years drift away in a swirl of memories, like a fractured prel- ude to the life you were meant to live. Those moments come like a whisper but the story shouts for an eternity,” Teagan, Teagan’s Treasure
