Into the Woods

Into the woods I go,

following the call.

Wandering it’s path,

I stumble and fall.

Again I tread,

following the Spirit.

Not knowing the way,

but I don’t fear it.

Leaves crunching,

under my foot.

The ground leaving,

it’s marking soot.

The wind rustling,

the branches and twigs.

As the falling leaves,

dance their jig.

Where do I go?

Which is the way?

Will I continue

to wonder all day?

Which is right?

Which is wrong?

Where is the answer,

for which I so long?
